Overtime Pay
The overtime pay must be 125% of the regular salary in Rwanda.
Both employee and employer can terminate the contract based on legitimate grounds and justified reasons. If the employee is terminated after one year of employment, then they will be provided with a notice allowance.

For less than 5 years of employment, 1 month of salary.

Visa and Immigration
An individual should issue a work permit from the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration to work in the Republic of Rwanda. The individual must present all the documents along with the employment contract. However, an employee must apply for a work permit within 15 days if the employee holds the employment contract for more than 90 days.
