According to Sudan labor code, the following scenarios leads to an employee’s termination:
- Incapacity of an employee to continue work due to sickness/disability
- End of employee’s definite period contract
- Total destruction of establishment
- Retirement
- Dismissal of employee during probationary period
- Mutual agreement between parties to end employment contract
- Dissolution/ Liquidation of the establishment
- Resignation
- Death of employee
In all instances, a notice should be provided by the terminating party.
