Payroll Cycle
Angola follows a monthly payroll cycle, in which the employees are paid on the last working day of the month.
Minimum Wage
The Angola minimum wage rate ranges from 32,181.15 – 48,271.73 kwanza per month, depending on the industry sector.
Overtime Pay
Maximum overtime is limited to 2 hours per day, 40 hours per month, and 200 hours per year. Overtime up to 30 hours per month are paid at an additional 50% of the normal hourly wage. Beyond that, employees are paid 75% of their hourly wage.
Bonus
Both 13th-month and 14th-month salaries are mandatory in Angola. These are paid at 50% of the normal monthly salary.
