Offboarding & Termination

Employers can terminate employees based on business (operation), personal (employee’s person) , and economic (downsizing / redundancy) reasons legally. Written notices are required for the aforementioned reasons however for behavorial misconduct (truancy, fraud, etc.), employers are entitled to terminate employees without notice.

The notice period for probationary and regular employees must be at least one month to at the most three months.

Employees are entitled to a severance payment depending on their years of service.
