Employee offboarding

Both parties, employee and employer, can terminate the employment contract with a notice period. However, the employer can terminate the contract if there is any misconduct on the employee’s part.

In Chad, the severance pay varies on the years of service provided as well as the reason for dismissal. If any of the parties terminate the employment contract with no misconduct, the employees are entitled to severance pay:
