We’re excited to announce the release of an “Inside the C Suite” podcast episode featuring our CEO and Co-Founder, Sagar Khatri. In it, he discusses everything from his own journey as an entrepreneur to the evolution of Multiplier. Watch the video above or read on to find a summary of the episode.

Sagar Khatri’s journey

Sagar Khatri was born and raised in India, attended IIT Bombay, and spent time in Michigan before splitting his time between New York and Singapore. In the episode, Sagar shares his experiences and challenges across countries, through his education and career to date.

Talking with HR and recruitment experts William Tincup and Ryan Leary, Sagar unpacks how his experiences in hiring as a CFO led him to create a better EOR solution: Multiplier. With experience in both startups and the corporate space, he also explores some of the major differences between the two, providing invaluable insights for anyone interested in entrepreneurship or global business.

The birth of Multiplier

Sagar co-founded Multiplier as a global employment platform that simplifies hiring talent worldwide. In “Inside the C Suite,” he explores in more depth Multiplier’s mission to help businesses access the skills they need without dealing with compliance complexities.. He also talks about the $4 million he raised in seed funding and the early-stage process of recruiting co-founders Amritpal Singh and Vamsi Krishna.

Combating global employment challenges

Sagar highlights the challenges companies face with global employment, such as setting up local entities and managing payroll across different countries. He also explores how he has built Multiplier alongside the insights of HR leaders in order to rectify these problems. Throughout the episode, the three speakers explore the role of work tech in making it easier to manage a global workforce.

The importance of a customer-centric approach

Multiplier’s customer-centric approach has been a key differentiator since Sagar founded the company. In the podcast, he explores the robust customer success ecosystem, how this ties in with his own values, and how he retains this culture at Multiplier as it scales.
