As the curtain falls on 2023, there’s no time like the present to reflect on a year that’s been nothing short of extraordinary. Multiplier has had a super productive and exciting year, driving innovation in the global employment space while simultaneously facilitating global expansion and economic growth with a record-breaking 104 direct entities. But that’s not all.

Let’s reflect on our best bits from 2023.

We onboarded 5K employees

We created 5000 employment contracts, enabling businesses to onboard the best available talent from 150+ countries. In the process, we completed a staggering 300,000 payslips! Every business should be able to bolster its workforce with incredible, diverse professionals with the skills they need to succeed. We’re honored to play a role in such a crucial aspect of the working world.

Team Multiplier grew to over +400

In 2023, we experienced a fantastic year of growth and expansion. Our workforce increased to more than 400 employees spanning 55 countries and counting. We take great pride in our exceptional team, where each member supports one another and embodies our three key cultural tenets: trust, transparency, and thoroughness. 

Our commitment to these principles is unwavering, reflecting our dedication to excellence and being an employer of choice.

Multiplier direct entities grew to 104

Beyond our ever-expanding workforce and community, we’re excited about our global expansion through direct entities. We now have 104 direct entities, with seven more already in the pipeline for early 2024.

Establishing entities in other countries means a lot to us here at Multiplier, as it supports diversity, global employment, and economic growth. Yes, we help businesses find the best talent, but we also ensure people and communities all over the world have access to vital opportunities to grow and prosper.

We welcomed 1000 new customers this year

We’re proud to announce that we’ve served 1000 new customers this year, a testament to the quality of our services and the dedication of our team. As the business world continues to evolve, we’re proud to enable global expansion and support economic growth.

We attended 14 global events

When we say we have a global presence, we mean it. This year, we attended 14 global events across six countries, including Unleash World Paris, HR Tech Singapore, Unleash US, and Collision Canada.

Meeting new people, immersing ourselves in other cultures, and celebrating the working world at events is a genuine pleasure. We look forward to attending as many events as possible in 2024. See you there?

We love our community

This year, we’ve seen impressive growth in our digital community. We’ve welcomed 86,880 new followers across all platforms, bringing our total follower count to over 183k. These platforms have generated an astounding 24 million impressions.

Additionally, we’ve engaged with our community through 9 webinars, five in-person events, and 6 LinkedIn Lives.

The Payroll View offers unmatched control and visibility, ensuring clients have a comprehensive overview of their entire payroll. This empowers them to stay well-informed throughout each pay cycle, resulting in accurate and timely employee salary payments.

Employee Onboarding Awareness 

Onboarding awareness offers clients a clear, step-by-step visibility into their progress, enabling them to anticipate and overcome any potential delays or challenges. This visibility empowers users to grasp completed steps more effectively and proactively address any issues that may arise during the onboarding process.

Companies worldwide, from small businesses to large corporations, use Multiplier’s platform to facilitate efficient and compliant global expansion. Throughout the year, we gather hiring data for all the businesses we help to grow. Here are a few cool things we learned in 2023:

  • Top countries: Multiplier is the market leader in APAC! We’ve seen a significant amount of our hiring happen in The Philippines, accounting for almost 22% of all overseas hires. 🇵🇭 However, India is in hot pursuit with more than 18% of hires. 🇮🇳
  • Top skills: Skills are in high demand amidst the talent crunch, and tech roles show no signs of becoming less crucial. We’ve noticed the demand for Engineering, Product, and Data (EPD) skills remains high, making up 28% of all hiring. Followed closely by management roles (21%).
  • Roles and regions: Fun fact—most EPD hires were for businesses in the US recruiting skilled workers from APAC countries. We love helping companies find the best talent regardless of their location, and APAC workers continue to demonstrate their skills and value for global employers. 🇺🇲🌏
  • Top Roles: Our services have been particularly effective in helping companies find software engineers, a role we’ve filled more than any other. In the digital age, roles such as this are vital for business growth and innovation—so it pays to have the tools you need to hire globally. 🧑‍💻

As 2023 comes to a close, we’re overjoyed and grateful for the year that’s passed and excited for what’s ahead. It was a year of highs, lows, achievements, and challenges for businesses and the world. Multiplier continued to grow as a company, a workforce, and as a leader in global employment.
